Wreay Syke Alpacas

Meet & Greet

Our Meet & Greet is at our alpaca’s home in Gatebeck where you can meet all of our herd including our girls* not just the ones we take trekking. If you come in late September you might also see one of our babies too!

This activity is for people of any age and most abilities, ideal for children under 6 who are not able to go on one of our treks or for anyone with health limitations.

The Meet & Greet lasts approximately an hour where you can spend time just being with them, giving them their favourite treat, learning all about them and getting to know their personalities. Ask as many questions as you want, take as many photos as you wish.

* Please note that the girls may not be at the field as we take them home when their cria (babies) are due to keep a close eye on them whilst giving birth and afterwards whilst the little ones are getting used to the world! We are sure you will understand that their welfare is paramount.

Keep an eye on our social media pages as we will keep everyone up to date if a baby is due.
