Meet & Greet
Our Meet & Greet is at our alpaca’s home in Gatebeck where you can meet all of our herd including our girls not just the ones we take trekking. If you come from July/August onwards you might also see babies too!
This activity is for people of any age and most abilities, ideal for children under 6 who are not able to go on one of our treks or for anyone with health limitations.
The Meet & Greet lasts approximately an hour where you can spend time just being with them, giving them their favourite treat, learning all about them and getting to know their personalities. Ask as many questions as you want, take as many photos as you wish.
(Please note that during the birthing season you may not see some of the girls as they keep their cria (babies) at a safe distance and a close eye on them whilst the little ones are getting used to the world! We are sure you will understand that their welfare is paramount)
Keep an eye on our social media pages as we will keep everyone up to date if a baby is born.

Cost & Information
£10 for adults and children aged 10 and over.
£5 for children between the ages of 5 and 9.
Under 5’s come free.
If you can't make the times listed above please get in touch as we can discuss alternative times (during winter the afternoon time may alter).
In areas the ground can be muddy, soft and uneven so for your enjoyment and health & safety we suggest you wear either wellies or good walking boots and also a warm waterproof coat if necessary, we do live in the Lake District!
No dogs are permitted on the activity.

Birthday Parties & Pre Wedding Celebrations
How about having a visit with us and all our alpacas as part of your birthday party or pre wedding celebrations, we will make this a private event just for you and your guests! Get in touch about costs.
For our younger guests or young-at-heart guests we can also provide party packs with a picture to colour in and some crayons, just ask about this when contacting us.
