Places to Eat & Stay

Why not stay and enjoy a holiday in the Lake District making an alpaca trek or a 'Meet & Greet' one of your activities.

If you just come up for the day, why not enjoy a meal before you head home?

There are numerous places to stay nearby, including The Crooklands Hotel on the main A65 on your way to us from the M6. Also, The Station Inn at the opposite end of the Helm walk on the Oxenholme Road, a few minutes from Oxenholme Train Station if you fancy something to eat before going home. Both of these offer accommodation, a warm welcome and meals to suit all tastes. If you would like a meal after your trek it is advisable to book beforehand to avoid disappointment.

Helm Mount Barns are holiday cottages within about 15 minutes walk from the start of our trek or 3 minutes by car.

We have also listed below other places to stay that have been recommended by some of our guests.
